And the Bettakultcha speakers are (drum roll...)
Here are the runners and riders for the first Bettakultcha, not in the running order yet but in the volunteering order. We just want to say thank you to all these people who have bravely agreed to speak on the night, it promises to be very interesting.

Thank you Bettakultcha is now SOLD OUT!
The last two tickets for Bettakultcha have just sold out!
I'm so pleased, thank you everyone who has booked to come to the first event at Temple Works on March 2nd.
The speed at which it's booked up has amazed me. It will be a really great night, and what ever happens we'll post it up here on the blog. There'll be photographs, and video too of all the presentations as we have had volunteers to put together clips for the site.
One I update to add the content from the night I'll post up a big thank you list. But thanks to everyone so far.

Still looking for presenters
We now have nine presenters lined up, but we're still looking for more. If you're passionate about something and would love a captive audience of at least 30 people for five minutes then please send an email to:
bettakultcha@googlemail.com and we'll add you to the list.
We're really pleased with the number of tickets already snapped up. As a thank you (and maybe a little nudge) here's a list of the people who have so far booked tickets, some have even booked more than one! So if you can see some of your friends here, why not book a ticket and come and enjoy the event with them.

How passionate are you?
No that's not a pick up line, and no I don't mean that kind of passion either! You people honestly!
We're looking for passionate people who can talk for exactly 5 minutes on a subject they love - cars, farming, chickens, you hoover, art, where all the fluff comes from. As long as you're passionate about the subject and can talk for five minutes (sure you can) then Bettakultcha would like to here from you.
All you'll need to do is put together a slide show of 20 slides, each one shows for 15 seconds and after five minutes you stop. Simple eh.
If you think you would like to do it, just send an email to bettakultcha@googlemail.com with your idea and we'll get back to you and may just invite you to take part in BettaKultcha on March 2nd.

Great response to BettaKultcha, still looking for presenters
Wow! Only launched Bettakultcha this afternoon and already 10 tickets have gone. At this rate we'll be booked up by this time next week. Thanks to everyone who's booked so far.

What is BettaKultcha?
Basically it's a night to have fun watching people giving presentations on things they love. You could even be one of the people presenting!
It'll be a relaxed night where the only rules are as follows:
Numbers are strictly limited to 60
So to be sure you get a chance to see these great presentations in advance you'll need to reserve your place quickly. As a big bloke once said “If your name’s not down you’re not coming in”. So the book my ticket link below to make sure you don’t hear that on the night.

BYOB
Just like all the classiest restaurants used to do, Bettakultcha with be a Bring Your Own Bottle event and we won’t even charge for corkage (or supply a cork screw!). But hey there may be some plastic glasses, so every cloud etc!Sorry about the MAN
The MAN as always has to get involved, so we need to have the event insured so we’d really welcome a donation of £1 each towards that. Any extra cash will go to a worthy charity. Sorry the MAN made us.Would you like to be one of the first presenters?
